RETURNS & EXCHANGES — PHYSICAL PRODUCTS
Caribou Gear offers a 15-day money-back guarantee on eligible physical products purchased directly from CaribouGear.com, less applicable shipping and restocking costs.
Customers have 15 days from the date of purchase to request a return or exchange.
For eligible physical-product returns:
- Returns are accepted within 15 days.
- The customer is responsible for return shipping.
- A 10% restocking fee applies.
- Products must be new, unused, unwashed, undamaged, and returned with original tags and packaging.
Products showing physical damage, stains, wear, washing, alteration, or other signs of use may not qualify for return or exchange.
Certain products are not eligible for return, including perishable goods such as food, sanitary goods, hazardous materials, flammable liquids or gases, and gift cards.
Products purchased through an independent retailer or dealer, including Bass Pro Shops, Cabela’s, Scheels, Sportsman’s Warehouse, or another retail location, must be returned to the original place of purchase and are subject to that retailer’s applicable return policy.
For higher-value returns, customers are encouraged to use a trackable shipping service and consider shipping insurance. Caribou Gear cannot guarantee receipt of a returned package that is lost in transit.
HOW TO INITIATE A RETURN OR EXCHANGE
For products purchased directly from CaribouGear.com, contact:

Once the returned merchandise is received and inspected by Caribou Gear, we will notify the customer regarding approval or rejection of the requested refund.
If approved, the refund will be issued to the original payment method, less applicable shipping and restocking charges, generally within 7 business days after approval.
DIGITAL PUBLICATIONS — CARIBOU GEAR ALASKA SERIES
Caribou Gear Outdoor Equipment Company also sells downloadable digital publications through the Caribou Gear Alaska Series.
Free six-page samples are provided for Alaska Series publications so customers can review the format and a portion of the content before purchasing.
Because these publications are digital products delivered electronically and cannot be physically returned, Alaska Series digital-publication purchases are generally final once access to the purchased file has been provided.
If a customer experiences a technical problem receiving, downloading, or opening a purchased publication, please contact Caribou Gear at hunt@caribougear.com. We will make reasonable efforts to correct the delivery problem, including restoring or resending access to the purchased file when appropriate.
Refund requests involving a digital publication may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Nothing in this policy limits any rights or remedies available to a customer under applicable law.
The Digital Publications section applies only to downloadable publications. Physical Caribou Gear products remain subject to the physical-product return and exchange provisions above.
DIGITAL-PUBLICATION LICENSE & COPYRIGHT
Purchasing a Caribou Gear Alaska Series publication provides the customer with a limited license to use the publication according to the customer-use terms stated for that specific product.
All Alaska Series publications are protected by copyright.

Unless specifically permitted by the applicable customer-use license, an Alaska Series publication may not be copied for others, shared, reposted, republished, redistributed, resold, or used to create another commercial product without prior written permission.
The individual product license controls who may use each publication.

- Guided Master Gear Lists — $97: Licensed to one named guided hunter.
- River Rafting Tips & Tactics — $49: Licensed to the purchaser for personal, noncommercial use.
